RAYUDU THANKS SACHIN
The Indian middle order batsman Ambati Rayudu has thanked Sachin Tendulkar for helping him during the period when he was struggling to make his way into international cricket.
Rayudu has recently made his debut for India in the first ODI match against Zimbabwe and he had a great outing in his debut match. He came to the wicket at a difficult time. The ball was moving around and India was in a bit of trouble after losing two early wickets, but, he showed amazing calmness and put up a great partnership with the skipper Virat Kohli to set up India’s win.
CLARKE CONFIDENCE RUBS OFF
When Michael Clarke first burst onto the Australian cricket scene he was already touted as a future captain.
After making a centaury in his test debut and then repeating the effort in his second appearance, many believed he would be the man to save Australian cricket.
SRI LANKA HOPEFUL OF SHOCK WIN
Australia might have posted a big total in the first of the three test of the Commonwealth Bank Series against Sri Lanka but the Sri Lankan players almost managed to get there, and would have pulled off an unlikely win had it not been for a last minute collapse.

WHITE CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE
Cameron White’s international career appears to be dead and buried, and his state playing career could also be in danger if his form with the bat does not improve in the near future.
His batting form of late has simply been atrocious, with initially his slump only being on the international stage, but now the runs have dried up in state cricket too.
Despite all of this, White will still go on to earn a huge amount of money from this year’s IPL, even though many England players have been unable to earn any IPL contracts at all.
ENGLAND EMBARASSED BY PAKISTAN
The England cricket team lost to Pakistan in the 2nd Test of the series in embarrassing fashion in Abu Dhabi.
After setting up the game also most perfectly, with a solid first innings lead established and bowling the opposition out fairly cheaply in their 2nd innings, being set a target of 142 on a decidedly slow pitch should have been fairly routine for the team which is ranked as being the best on the planet.
However, sadly, the frailties of England teams that we thought were consigned to history sadly returned, as they folded like a pack of cards against Pakistan’s spinners.
TENDULKAR JUST WANTS A WIN

Warne makes a losing return to cricket
Shane Warne’s return to cricket ended in defeat after his Melbourne Stars team crashed to a six-wicket defeat against Sydney Thunder.

England have been handed a boost ahead of their Test series’ against Sri Lanka and India this summer after the ECB announced that Andy Flower has renewed his contract and will remain in his role as team director.
“The ECB today announced that Andy Flower has renewed his contract and will continue in his current role as England team director,” read an ECB statement on Tuesday morning.
“Flower will remain on a permanent contract and is currently preparing for an international summer that sees England face Sri Lanka, India and Ireland.”
